Demolition service for early-1900s Horsham church

Posted on September 7, 2016 in News

Our Horsham demolition service recently completed an extensive demolition project, involving a church and two adjoining houses.

Demolition works included the early-1900s church and brick veneer chapel. Due to the age of the buildings, we had to call in our asbestos removal team who removed wall sheets and super six roofing under cautious OH&S standards. We delivered the asbestos waste to an EPA-licensed tip site.

Our demolition team worked on this project for three weeks, including removing large gum trees and stumps and working close to powerlines under guidance from the local power authority.

We were pleased to be able to recycle and reuse materials where possible, including:

  • mulching of trees and green waste for garden mulch
  • crushing bricks and concrete for use in farm tracks
  • salvaging timber, trusses, windows, doors, roofing iron and garden ornaments.

Our demolition service is available across Victoria. Please contact us for enquiries.
